Making a Meaningful Impact

Ellie and Friends Cares is one of the meaningful ways we support families navigating medical crises. We send thoughtfully curated care packages to families with hospitalized children who have disabilities.

Each package includes treats, encouraging literature, and comfort items designed to uplift families during some of their darkest moments.

Ellie and Friends honors and supports Special Education staff and teachers by providing small but impactful gifts—like coffee, snacks, and gift cards.

We recognize that their dedication goes far beyond the classroom. These educators pour themselves into helping children thrive, often pushing past perceived limitations.

Unfortunately, burnout among Special Education teachers is at an all-time high due to overwhelming workloads and a critical shortage of staff. Through our gestures, we aim to remind them that their work is seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Ellie & Friends is dedicated to helping individuals with special needs reach their fullest potential. One of the key ways we do this is through Lighthouse Special Education Academy—a private, Christian special education school that welcomes children with physical needs of all kinds, whether great or small.

Lighthouse SEA's mission is simple yet powerful: to minimize barriers and maximize success.

In addition to providing direct educational support, Ellie & Friends also offers scholarships to help students access life-changing opportunities. These include:

• Tuition assistance for private special education schools
• Participation in SPELLERS Intensives
• Enrollment in programs like Destination Dawgs
